Didcot Health Centre has taken actions to protect our patients, our staff and our community. Our aim is to significantly reduce the footfall through our surgery in order to reduce the risk of spreading the virus which may pose a significant risk to patients, especially those who are frail, elderly or have an underlying medical condition.

With immediate effect, all appointments will initially be on the telephone. Our GPs and Nurses will do all they can to help you over the phone - however, should they feel the need to see you face to face for examination, you will be invited to the surgery for review.

Our triage service is operating as normal for emergency medical issues. You will still be able to book a telephone consultation with your GP.

You must not come to the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment with a GP or nurse. During this time we are also temporarily withdrawing online booking.

Please sign up to the NHS App. You can use this to request repeat medications as well as accessing up to date guidance about a whole range of conditions, as well as the latest coronavirus advice. If you are already registered with Patient Access you can continue to use this to order your repeat medications.

For further up to date information about Coronavirus please go to 111.nhs.uk.

Thank you, everyone, for your patience and understanding.

If you have symptoms do not go to a

GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
